The information workshop entitled “LIFE and CITIES” was organised by the Green Fund and the Greek LIFE Task Force and took place in Athens, on April 10 and 11.
Dr. Natasa Poupkou, representing the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, which is the Project’s Coordinator, presented the strategic objectives of LIFE ASTI, placing emphasis on how:
• Τhe Project could support the local authorities in citizens’ protection.
• Τhe Project could contribute to the increase of climate resilience.
• Transferability and replicability are accounted for within the Project’s framework.
In the framework of the workshop, synergies between “LIFE ASTI and the LIFE-IP AdaptInGR project LIFE-IP AdaptInGR – Boosting the implementation of adaptation policy across Greece” were identified.
