Future Climate Change Impact on Urban Heat Island in Two Mediterranean Cities

The scientific article titled “Future Climate Change Impact on Urban Heat Island in Two Mediterranean Cities Based on High-Resolution Regional Climate Simulations” was published. In the study, the WRF-ARW numerical weather prediction model was used to investigate the climate change
impact on UHI for two Mediterranean cities, Rome and Thessaloniki. The article also presents the work of LIFE ASTI project, which focuses on the development of a forecasting system for the UHI effect for the two cities.
