THE EU STRATEGY ON CLIMATE CHANGE

The European Commission adopted its new EU Strategy on Adaptation to Climate Change. The aim of the proposals is to shift the focus from understanding the problem to developing solutions, and to move from planning to implementation. Its adoption is welcomed, as action is vital when it comes to phenomena such as extreme heatwaves.
