Presenting the LIFE ASTI project at the international workshop of LIFE HEATLAND

The LIFE ASTI project and the effort of monitoring the Urban Heat Island effect, presented at the international workshop of LIFE HEATLAND titled “Preparing our cities for climate challenges and improving the quality of life” by Dr. Stavros Keppas, a Research Associate in the Laboratory of Atmosphere, School of Physics, of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, The webinar aimed to address the very important issue of adaptation of the urban environment to climate change in order to mitigate the negative effects that climate change and heat stress have on human health,on November 3, 2021.
